THE BROADWAY BRIEF - April 28, 2026

Good afternoon, degenerates and responsible investors of emotional damage.

Monday’s Brief went 2–2 overall and still found a way to finish +0.24U, which is basically sports betting’s version of falling down the stairs and somehow landing in a recliner with a cold beer.

Twins ML (+122) cashed easy in an 11–4 boat race.
White Sox ML (+102) survived an 8–7 sweat lodge like they were trying to personally raise my blood pressure.

Then came the nonsense.

Guardians -1.5 were up 2–0 and lost 3–2.
Pirates -1.5 were up 2–0 and then gave up four runs in the 9th like they had dinner reservations and a grudge against my soul.

So yeah, it was ugly. It was annoying. It was the kind of card that makes you stare at the ceiling fan and question every life decision that led you here.

But the ledger doesn’t care about feelings.

2–2. +0.24U. Green card. Another receipt.

Not perfect. Profitable.

And that’s the whole damn point.

Now we reload for Tuesday, wipe the bullpen trauma off the windshield, and go hunting again.
